This spring, the Marinette School District hosted a two-part series of community meetings, titled “CommUNITY Conversations,” aimed at engaging community stakeholders in our strategic and future planning efforts. These meetings provided a platform for open and constructive dialogue, fostering connections and building a stronger community.

2024 Community Conversations Recap:
Our first two meetings, held in the spring of 2024, included community members, parents, families, staff, local government officials, employers, and agency representatives. The discussions focused on identifying priority trends and issues affecting our schools and community, celebrating areas of success, and establishing the group’s purpose. Additionally, participants engaged in deeper discussions to generate ideas and actions for future improvements. Attendees recommended the district focus on the following themes:
